Sharell Lynn Clark

November 5, 1938 — May 31, 2025

Sharell Lynn (Schulz) Clark, 86, of Morocco, Indiana was surrounded by her family as her Heavenly Father called her home on May 31, 2025. Born to Albert and Bondalyn (David) Schulz on November 5, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, she married the love of her life, Gary Clark on June 9, 1956, in Lake Village, IN.

Sharell is survived by her loving husband of 68 years. Gary Clark; her children, Leisa (Damon) Laffoon of Morocco, IN, Michele (Mark) Ozug of Morocco, IN, and Julie (Doug) Overdeer of Clarksville, TN; and her sister, Diane (Larry) Sitkiewicz of Phoenix, AZ. Her grandchildren, Noelle (Chris) Enyeart, Amber Oliver, Greg (Erica) Laffoon, Kaylee (Evan) Brown, Janelle (Jd) Rasmussen, Danielle (Jonathan) Laffoon, Sydney and Kinsey Overdeer. Her great grandchildren, Quentin, Grace, Olivia & Noah Enyeart; Koldon (Amanda), Gabrielle, and Linkoln Oliver; Madilynn & Braden Laffoon; Gunner & Colt Pasierb; Aubrey & Whitlee Brown; Juniper & Harvey Rasmussen; and Delilah & Jasper Laffoon, and great great grandchildren, Kade and Finnick Oliver.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Schulz and Bondalyn (David)Brandt; and her grandson, Joshua Ozug. Sharell loved her family fiercely and lived her life sharing her faith, love, and willingness to help others, she was a servant of God.

Sharell, a woman of strong faith who sang in the church choir, and served as a deaconess, board member, and a member of the women’s fellowship at the United Church of Morocco. She was active in her community as she served on the Newton/Jasper County Crisis Center board and was a member of Projects Unlimited in Morocco.

She and Gary enjoyed traveling, fishing, and golfing. An avid baker, she loved to spend time in her kitchen making pies and Angel Food cake and sharing these skills with anyone who wanted to learn. She had a passion for gardening and her flower gardens were always beautiful.

Celebration of Life will be held June 9th at the United Church of Morocco from 10 am to 12 pm with the service at 12 pm. The private burial service will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations can be made to the United Church of Morocco.
