Sharon L. York

Sharon L. York, age 72, of Rensselaer, Indiana passed away April 20, 2026 at Monticello Healthcare Center. She was born August 14, 1953, in Hammond, Indiana, the daughter of Dennis “Jack” York and Cerilda M. (Daniels) York.

She is survived by her brother, D. Steven (wife: Dee) York of Noblesville, Indiana, and her close friends, Tom and Nancy Phillips of Rensselaer, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lowell O. (wife Debbie) York.

A memorial service will be held at Hope Community, 609 N. McKinley Avenue in Rensselaer on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. CT with Pastor Kenin Smith officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Community or the American Cancer Society.
