Susan Kay Gernon

Susan Kay (Burton) Gernon, 73, of Morocco, Indiana, formerly of Kankakee, Illinois passed away April 16, 2024, after a short illness.

Susan, one of four siblings, was born in 1951 in Watseka, Illinois.

She was a devout Mother of six children, Jennifer (Doug) Jaeger of Charlotte, North Carolina, Rachel (Chris) Hilton of Venice, Florida, Andrew Gernon of Donovan, Illinois, Michael Gernon of Danforth, Illinois, Paul Gernon of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Marc Gernon of Kankakee, Illinois, and a loving Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Susan is preceded in death by her father Donald Burton.

Susan enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, home decorating, and a beautiful drive in her convertible.

She will be celebrated in a private memorial with loved ones.

With cherished memories, she will be missed by many.
