Susan Elizabeth Neal

Susan Elizabeth Neal, 73, of Lafayette, IN was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on February 24, 1952, daughter of the late Wade LaRue Neal and Janet S. Neal.

She is survived by one sister, Linda (Robert) Cichocky; one brother, George (Susie) Neal; and her sister-in-law, Meagan Neal. Nine nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. She will be fondly remembered by her dear friend, Lakeisha Harris, and many other friends at Wabash Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Stephen Neal.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 10 a.m. until noon (Central Time) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. The funeral service will begin at noon (Central Time) with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Weston Cemetery in Rensselaer.
