Thomas Halstead

Thomas H. Halstead, age 62 of Morocco passed away at his home on Wednesday afternoon, September 3, 2008 following an illness of 2 years. He had resided in Morocco for the past 12 years moving there from Mt. Ayr. He attended the Mt. Ayr Schools and was a member of the Class of 1964. He proudly served his country is the U.S. Army from 1966 till 1968, serving as a Court Recorder in Korea. He loved all animals but especially was fond of cats. He was a wonderful gardener, loved to work with his hands, enjoyed listening to Classical music and was a very well read person. Friends and family knew Tom for his own special unique wit. He will be sadly missed by his wife and family along with his many, many friends.
