Timothy Andrew Gonsiorowski

Timothy Andrew Gonsiorowski, “Skeeter”, 81, of Oxford, Indiana passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. He was born in Hammond, Indiana on August 2, 1942, son of the late Thaddeuz and Stella (Wojtena) Gonsiorowski. He was a 1960 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Hammond and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. On October 3, 1964, in Whiting, Indiana he married the love of his life, Patricia Runick.

Skeeter was a school bus driver for the North Newton School Corporation for fourteen years, and was also the evening janitor at Lincoln Elementary School. He was a member of the Roselawn American Legion Post #238. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed woodworking, reading, playing pool and watching old movies.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia Gonsiorowski; three children: Terri Swartz, Tim (Tina) Gonsiorowski and Debra Thurston; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and one brother.
