Tracy D. Patterson

Tracy D. Patterson, 58, of Morocco, Indiana passed away peacefully at his home on Monday evening, May 6, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Scottsboro, Alabama on May 31, 1965, the son of Harvey and Mazette (McCutchen) Patterson.

He was a 1983 graduate of Lake Central High School and went on to study auto mechanics at a local trade school. He was a longtime machinist at Talbert Manufacturing in Rensselaer. Tracy enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, building things, and working on his John Deere tractor.

On September 18, 2004 he married Felicia (Hicks) Patterson, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Amanda Reynolds, Tanya Reynolds, and Douglas Patterson; two grandchildren, Destiny (Braden) Gary and Ashlyn Reynolds; his brother, Tim (Mary Ann) Patterson; his mother-in-law, Ruby Hicks; and his beloved dog, Brenna. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family is planning a celebration of Tracy’s life for a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
