Vicki Ann Allis (Delaney), passed away peacefully in Lafayette, Indiana, on September 15, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on April 27, 1955, in Rensselaer, Indiana.
Vicki was a proud graduate of North Newton High School, Class of 1974, and later earned her associate’s degree in business. She worked for several years in quality control at Ice River Springs in Kentland, Indiana, where she carried out her responsibilities with dedication.
She found happiness in the simple and meaningful parts of life. Vicki enjoyed her animals, especially her cat, Milo, and her dog, Jake. She also enjoyed canning and treasured time spent going to breakfast with family and friends, creating moments of warmth, laughter, and connection that will be fondly remembered.
Above all, Vicki will be remembered by those who knew and loved her most. She is survived by her husband, Randy Allis; her son, Gary Truelock; her daughter, Kyra Allis; and her grandson, Michael. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Roy, Sandra Hall and her husband Claude, and Patty Homier and her husband Roger; and by her brothers, Steve Delaney and his wife Therisa, and Rick Delaney and his wife Pam. Their love, shared memories, and the bonds of family will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Delaney; her mother, Gladys (Doyle) Delaney; her son, Mark Truelock; and her siblings Robert, Kenneth, Diane, and Sharon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. CDT at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco, 101 E. Beaver St, Morocco, Indiana 47963.
Vicki will be remembered with love for her strength, her devotion to family, and the everyday kindness she shared with others. Her memory will be carried forward by all who were blessed to know her.
