Virginia Hensler

Virginia Hensler, age 89, of Rensselaer, passed away at George Ade Extended Care Facility late Sunday evening, April 13, 2008. She was born in Jasper County September 28, 1918 and lived her lifetime in Jasper County; was a homemaker and farmer. She was a 1937 graduate of Rensselaer High School. On May 28, 1938, she married Earl Hensler. he survives; in May, 2008 they would have been married 70 years. She loved to travel and had been to all States except Alaska along with traveling abroad visiting over 15 countries. She also loved gardening, antiques and spending time with her family. For over 30 years she and husband spent winters in Florida. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends but is now free of illnesses and "sitting at the right hand of God".
