WAYNE HOLLEY
1917-2009
Born Sept. 16, 1917, in Morocco, he was the son of the late Ray Albert and Estella May Kessler Holley. He attended Newton County schools.
In October 1984, he married Louise Gregerson Northcutt in Kentland, and she preceded him in death on Sept. 20, 2008.
Mr. Holley was a millwright and member of the Carpenters Union, retiring in 1990. He lived in Michigan from 1972 to 1982, and had served in the Army.
He was a member of the Methodist Church of Morocco and Morocco American Legion.
Surviving are three daughters, Donna Doty (husband: Wilbur) of DeMotte, Carolyn Geller (husband: Tim) of Morocco and Betty Lebo (husband: Ernie) of Winamac; and a son, Ron Holley (wife: Mary Gail) of Lowell.
Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two wives and a brother.
Friends may call from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2009, at Steinke Funeral Home, Brunton Chapel of Morocco, the Rev. Thomas D. Vance officiating. Interment at Smith-Holley Cemetery, Morocco, with full military rites. Memorial contributions may be made to donor's choice.
