William Adair

William R. Adair, age 88 of Rensselaer passed away late Sunday evening, February 15, 2009 at Rensselaer Care Center. He was born in Rensselaer on September 28, 1920 a son of the late John and Marie (Jones) Adair and was a lifetime Jasper County resident. He was a 1939 graduate of Rensselaer High School, was a U.S. Army Veteran, and member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. He is survived by the following children and families: Darion (Shauna) Adair of Niles, MI; Damon Adair stationed with the Army in Iraq; Sean (Melody) Adair of Tennessee; Robin (Mary) Adair, Jeff Adair, Hillary (Francis) Wojcik and Janis Adair all of California. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother. Memorial services will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church at 10 A.M. Saturday, February 21st with Rev. Susan Blubaugh officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family.
