William Arthur Lowe

William Arthur “Bill” Lowe, age 72, of Bloomington, IN, formerly of Morocco, IN, passed away April 15, 2026 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born in Rensselaer on March 2, 1954, the son of Arthur William and Leona May (Madison) Lowe.

Bill was a graduate of Morocco High School and Indiana Central College. He was a concrete worker and helped his father with his business. He enjoyed collecting guns and archery.

Bill is survived by three sisters: Judy (Mike) Cobleigh of Earl Park, IN, Joan Burris of Lafayette, IN and Jennie (Jerry) Kellner of Rensselaer, IN. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Brenda (Kenneth), Jim, Margaret, Martha, Marilyn, Kelly, Kevin (Shannon) and Kristy (Nick), as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Leona Lowe; four sisters: Jean Lasley, Betty Jane Dowty, Joyce Wood, and Nancy Ingram; his infant brother, Larry Lowe; his brother-in-law, Leo Burris; and six nephews: Glenn Cobleigh, Michael Cobleigh, Michael Ingram, Tom Dowty, and infant nephew Rick.
