BETTY L. BOL, age 85 of Rensselaer passed away, November 6, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. She was born October 19, 1924 in Rensselaer, a daughter of the late Flenner and Maude (Steele) Todd. She was a lifetime Jasper County resident and a 1943 graduate of Rensselaer Central High School. In 1947 in Gary, she married Henry Earl Bol. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and spent her working years as a sales associate in department stores. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church. Surviving are 4 daughters; Diana (Larry) Guedesse of Tampa, Fl., Nancy Prater of Mesa, AZ, Mary Clark of Rensselaer and Helen (Stephen) Loder of Durham, NC. There are 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. One sister, Martha Crawford of San Francisco, CA survives. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may call at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer on Wednesday, Nov. 11th from 9:30 until time of funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Weston Cemetery. Family suggests memorials to the American Heart or Diabetes Association.
