Obituary for David Mark Williams

David Mark  Williams
David Mark Williams, 55, of Rensselaer, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017. He was born in Rensselaer on June 22, 1962, the son of Madge (Hopkins) Williams and the late Donald Williams. He graduated from Rensselaer Central High School and was a lifelong area resident.

David had worked in maintenance at Saint Joseph’s College and at White Castle Bakery in Rensselaer. He enjoyed carpentry and was a diehard Chicago Bears fan. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.

David is survived by his four children: Jeri Chapman (Ben Chapman), Brandon Williams (wife: Elyse), Rylee Rodriguez (husband: Travis), and Nathan Williams (wife: Breanne); his mother, Madge Williams; four brothers: Mike Williams, Randy Williams (wife: Shari), Norman Williams (wife: Carol), and Curt Williams (Jeanne Fisher); one sister, Donna Nemeth (husband: Bill); eleven grandchildren and two on the way; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by: his father; two nephews; and one great-nephew.

Visitation will be Monday, July 31, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. (CDT) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 2 p.m. (CDT) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer with Pastor Isaiah DeMoss officiating. Interment will follow at Independence Cemetery.
