Dear loved ones of Gary, my name is Morgan Hammock, the daughter of JD Hammock (owner of Brown Machinery). I was always a very shy child, but anytime I would visit dad's work (Sooner rental) Gary made it a point to make me feel welcome and special by pulling a tootsie roll out of the top shelf of his red tool box. This sweet gesture left an everlasting impression on me and always put a smile on my face. Later in life when he was struggling with his health, (I'm 29 now) I would take him to doctors appointments and grocery shop. I'll never forget the time he called me and said he was craving something his mom would make him (can't remember exactly but I think it was orange jello and whipped cream or something). I immediately went to the store and made it for him. Due to him being ill, nothing ever sounded good but he was ecstatic about it and ate it up in a blink of an eye! I was blessed by his kind heart and we both had lots of unique shared interests (like a deep love for Mountain Dew). I am very sorry for your loss and I know he is smiling down on all of us.
