Jeremy “Jay” Edward Wright, age 32, of Morocco, Indiana, passed away January 5, 2012. Jeremy was born August 23, 1979 in Crown Point, IN to Edward Wright Jr. and Belinda (Keller) Messer. He attended Kankakee Valley High School and St. Joseph College. He also served in the United States Army. He worked at Steel Rod’s CB Shop in Remington, IN for six years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, bowling, and watching the Chicago Bears. He also loved listening to and playing music and was an avid gamer.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Wright, and two sons, Jeremiah Wright and Javen Wright of Morocco. He is also survived by his grandfather, Homer Keller of Schererville, IN; his mother, Belinda Messer of San Pierre, IN; and three sisters, Jennifer (Eric Krause) Wright of Downers Grove, IL; Amanda (Nicholas) Jackson of Lafayette, IN and Stacey (Dallas) Wiesemann of San Pierre, IN. He is also survived by four nieces, two nephews and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father and hero, Edward Wright Jr., stepfather David Messer, paternal grandparents Edward Wright Sr. and Mabel Wright, maternal grandmother Wilma Keller, his aunt Dorothy, and uncles Donald and Tom.

A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Christian Tabernacle church located at 4911 W. 1100 S. Rensselaer, IN on Friday, January 13, 2012. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. CST, with the service starting at 11:00 a.m. Pastor James Blanchard will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Marie Wright.
