Obituary for Juanita Huff

Juanita Huff, 85, of Wheatfield, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the Rensselaer Care Center. She was born in Royalton, KY on June 30, 1928, the daughter of Chester Miller and Sally (Joseph) Miller. Her marriage was to Edgar Paul Huff. He preceded her in death.

Juanita was the apartment manager at Heritage Park Apartments for a number of years. She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Gilliam Township and the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #406 of Wheatfield. She enjoyed playing scratch off lottery tickets and having coffee with her friends at the Wheatfield Tmart.

Juanita is survived by one daughter, Charlene (Vernon) Richie of Rensselaer; two sons, Paul Huff of Chesterton and Jeremy (April) Huff and of Hebron; one brother, Forest Miller of Rensselaer; three sisters: Vernita Whitaker of Hudson Bay, FL, Phyllis (George) Allen of Wheatfield, and Alice (Ron) Barnett of Rensselaer; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild also survive. She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband Edgar Paul Huff, one daughter, Donna Renee Huff, and one sister.

Friends may call on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (CST) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10 a.m. (CST) with Pastor John Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Wheatfield Cemetery.
