A Celebration of Mark’s Life will be held at the family farm on Saturday, August 25, 2018 beginning at 1 p.m. The farm is located at 3136 E. 2950 N, Donovan, IL 60931. Food, hog roast, water, sweet tea, lemonade, pipe tobacco/cigars and beer will be served.
Remembrance Service will be held at 4 p.m. with Mary Kay Emmrich officiating. The family requests guests bring a lawn chair and a story to share.
This is NOT a formal event; please wear jeans, shorts, swimsuit or what ever is comfortable. Horseshoes, Volleyball, campfire, bags, sandbox and the lawn mower will be pulling wagons for the kids.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Town of Morocco/Friends of the Park Fund. We are planning on replacing some trees in the town park in his honor.
My deepest condolences to the Davidson family. Mark was a very nice gentleman. I will always picture Mark behind the pharmacy counter at Peoples Drug Store in his corner that he occupied. I have great memories of Mark growing up in Morocco and will always remember them. God Bless Mark.
We missed him when he retired from Fagen's Pharmacy and will miss him in our lives. He was kind and giving and always had a smile for everyone. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
I remember Mr. Davidson from the time I was in elementary school and knew him well from working at IGA. He was a kind man who loved his customers and the town of Morocco. I am saddened to see him pass but my condolences to his family and friends during this time.
Although I departed Morocco for a career in the Army I always stopped by to see Mark on the few occasions when I returned for a visit.
We enjoyed swapping our personal life events since we had last seen each other. Always covering years at a time and always a fun time for both of us. The last time we spoke was 2009, my most recent visit to Morocco for my class reunion.
I will miss Mark and his friendship.
God bless Mark and his family.

Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. We have so many memories of Mark and family, being neighbors for many years. That is what makes us happy to remember the fun we had. Unfortunately we will unable to attend his celebration of life, but know you are all in our hearts.
