Peggy Joyce Luttrell age 72 of Medaryville passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday afternoon, with her loving family by her side. Peggy was born on September 23, 1936, the daughter of Edwin and Mary Cain. Peggy was a lifelong area resident. She was educated in the Brook School Corporation and Graduated in 1955. She married Ray Luttrell on February 3, 1958 who survives. Peggy and Ray had six children, five who survive: Timothy (Belinda) Luttrell of Medaryville; Jeffery (Janey) Luttrell of Hobart; Melonie Luttrell of Oak Island, N.C.; Michael Luttrell of Medaryville; Pam Connor of Peoria, Il. She is also survived by 2 brothers: William (Joe) Cain of Evansville; and Ed Cain of Francesville and one sister: Regina Trout of Rensselaer. Survivors also include 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Peggy worked as a nursing assistant for 35 years and retired form the Jasper County Hospital. Peggy was a hard worker, and in her free time loved playing cards with her family and friends. Peggy is preceded in death by one infant son Wilber, and her parents. Peggy worked hard all her life but now rests comfortably in the arms of her lord.
