Terry T. Luttrell, age 39 of Rensselaer, passed away unexpectedly at Jasper County Hospital Friday morning, July 1, 2011. He was born in Rensselaer on May 25, 1972, son of Jerry J. Luttrell and Helen J. (Martin) Luttrell.

Terry was a lifetime Rensselaer resident and graduated from Rensselaer Central High School with the Class of 1991. On February 2, 2002, he married Angela D. Whitaker, and she survives. For the past 3 years Terry was employed as a truck driver for Scout’s Bluff Trucking. Prior to that he was the owner/operator of T&L Trucking. Terry was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Terry enjoyed hunting, racing cars, fishing, mushrooming and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Terry is survived by his wife Angela Luttrell; parents Jerry and Helen Luttrell; daughters Amber, Ashlee, Annabelle and Abrielle Luttrell, and step-daughter Aliyaha Whitaker, all at home; sisters Roxanne Luttrell (significant other: Bill Howard) of Rensselaer, Sarah Lonsberry (husband: Danny) of Wheatfield, Katrina Minter (husband: John) of Brook; brother Tony Luttrell (wife: Brandy) of Rensselaer; sister-in-law Melissa Robinson (significant other: Chad Pancake); grandparents Henry Luttrell of Mt. Ayr and Thelma and Mannie Martin of Rensselaer. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer with Brother Jerry Durflinger officiating. Interment will follow at DeMotte Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family.
