Obituary for William Lock

William R. Lock, age 52 of rural Wheatfield passed away Friday morning, March 11, 2011 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. William was born December 30, 1958 in Rensselaer, son of the late William Robert Lock and Geneva (Johnson) Lock. He was married to Mary (Wentworth) Lock of Wheatfield. She survives.

Mr. Lock served 6 years with the Indiana National Guard. He had been employed at Von’s Excavating of Wheatfield as a heavy equipment operator. He was a lifetime area resident.

Sons surviving are William R. Lock (wife, Kimberly) and Michael B. Lock (wife, Jamie) all of Demotte, IN. Sisters surviving are Sophia (Mrs. Frank) Elmore of Morocco, IN and Rhonda (Mrs. Charles) Lawson of Veedersburg, IN and brother, Melvin (wife, Robin) Lock of Leesville, IL. Four grandchildren survive, Dakota Lock, Michael Lock, James Lock, and Willow Lock, all of DeMotte.

He was preceded in death by his parents..

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer is handling the arrangements.
